Francesco Banterle is a post-doc researcher at the Visual Computing Laboratory at ISTI-CNR Italy. He received a Ph.D. in Engineering from Warwick University in 2009. During his Ph.D. he developed Inverse Tone Mapping which bridges the gap between Low Dynamic Range Imaging and High Dynamic Range (HDR) Imaging. He holds a B.Sc. and a M.Sc. in Computer Science from Verona University. His main research fields are HDR Imaging, rendering, and optimizing algorithms for GPUs and multi-core systems.
Luca Benedetti is a research officier at University of Bath, where he is involved in the OAK Project. He received the Ph.D. (2013), the Master's degrees (2009), and the Bachelor's degrees (2007) in Computer Science from the University of Pisa, Italy. The Ph.D. research activity has been pursued in the Visual Computing Laboratory of ISTI-CNR.
