There is FREE parking available for VAST 2005 delegates around the CNR building. To gain access to the parking area, use the intercom at the entrance and mention you are attending the conference.
Coffee breaks and lunches will be served in the Dining Rooms of the CNR Conference Center. Please wear your badge to enter the venue. For information about the social dinner, please refer to the general program.
Internet access will be provided in the Internet room, where Apple Mac's and wireless LAN will be available for VAST 2005 delegates.
Standard tools will be installed on the computers (Internet Explorer and Microsoft Office).
The computer facilities are open for use between 8.00H and 20.00H. Please be considerate of your colleagues who may be waiting for a free terminal and avoid chat and long downloads.

Since the rooms can not be locked, please do not store expensive equipment brought for information stands (computers, screens, etc.) in the dining rooms at night. We will provide a special locked storage room, but CNR-ISTI will not be responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items. The key to the room is available on request at the conference desk in the entrance hall. On arrival/departure, we can also store your luggage in this room.
Smoking is strictly forbidden within all public buildings in Italy, which includes the CNR Conference Center. You can have a smoke outside the building (hopefully, November should be not too cold in Pisa).
Excursions can be organized on demand. Please contact the conference organization.
Please, always wear your conference badge within the conference venue, including lunch breaks and the evening programs. You will not be allowed to attend the conference or have meals without your badge.
