I am a researcher at the Visual Computing Laboratory , which is part of ISTI (Istituto Scienza e Tecnologie dell'Informazione), which is part of the Italian National Research Council ( CNR ). I graduated from University of Pisa in 1995, earned my PhD in 2001 and was hired by CNR, where I became part of the permanent staff in 2008.

I've been working in Computer since my degree and I've published around 50 papers in several subfields including deformable objects, multiresolution rendering techniques, photorealistic rendering and geometry processing.
