Cover competition 2024
Deadline January 26th 2024

Each year we have the opportunity to change the photograph which appears on the cover of Computer Graphics Forum, journal of Eurographics, the European Association for Computer Graphics. This is your opportunity to show the world what you can do, a competition for the photograph for the 2024 volume.

How to participate

It is sufficient to upload your images before January 26th 2024. Each picture must have been produced with the aid of computer graphics and must be your own copyright. See the upload page for further details.

What Happens Next

The Chief Editors and the Editorial Board members will judge each image sent in. We will be looking for a striking picture, one that demonstrates creative and/or innovative use of computer graphics technology. It helps if it makes good use of colour, is original, not excessively complex and if it can be readily identified. We will inform the winner(s) and announce the results early 2024.

What Happens To The Winner

You win a prize! We are offering 200€ to the winner. But the biggest prize for the winner is of course that the picture will appear on the cover of all the 2024 issues, including the conference issue.

Furthermore an acknowledgement will appear in each regular issue. The winning picture and the runners-up may also be used in advertising without further acknowledgement. Please note that we will require exclusive use of the winning image from the time of notification until the end of the volume year.

We reserve the right not to award any or all prizes if, in the opinion of the Chief Editors, the standard is not adequate or suitable for the cover. The decision of the panel is final.
