I was born in Scorrano (Lecce).

In July 2006, I received a bachelor's degree at University of Pisa with a thesis about the development of an application for Windows CE embedded devices to manage RFId (Radio-Frequency Identification) tags.

In October 2008, I received a master's degree in Computer Science at University of Pisa with the thesis “Interactive relighting of images by Polynomial Texture Maps” (Link) developed at Visual Computing Lab of ISTI-CNR at Pisa under the supervision of Massimiliano Corsini and Paolo Cignoni.

From February to June 2011 I was a visiting PhD student at GRIS-Capturing Reality Group, Technische Universität Darmstadt, under the surpevision of Prof. Michael Goesele.

In June 2013, I received the Phd in Computer Science at University of Pisa with the thesis “Surface Appearance Estimation from Video Sequences” (Link), under the supervision of Roberto Scopigno and Marco Callieri.
