Results
We tested our framework with several real cases. We would like
to emphasize the concept that the following examples are real
application scenarios that has been commissioned by restorers.
Madonna of Pietranico
The first case study on with we applied or method is the
Madonna Of Pietranico. This artwork is a devotional
terracotta statue of the 15th century, originally located in
the main church of the Pietranico village in Abruzzo. This
statue was severely damaged during the earthquake of 2009,
in the Italian region of Abruzzo.
The Fountain
The second case of study was the Fountain, a table-fountain made of hard-paste porcelain.
Such artwork consists in several pieces conserved in the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
This artifact, originally, is not a fractured objects, it is, instead, composed by several pieces that suppose to be attached each others.
