RTIViewer

The RTIViewer is the visualization software to display and explore Reflectance Transformation Imaging(RTI) files at very high resolution (Polynomial Texture Maps, Hemispherical Harmonics Map, and Multi-View RTI). You can view image files stored on your local file system, and remote files through HTTP. It allows to apply several ehnancement methods to improve the perception of the detalis, to save bookmarks and to take snapshot. You can find a copy of the User Guide in pdf format included with the software.

This tool, designed for cultural heritage and natural science applications, was primarily developed by Visual Computing Laboratory. The work was financed by Cultural Heritage Imaging with majority funding from the US Institute of Museum and Library Services'(IMLS) and National leadership Grant Program (Award Number LG-25-06-010706). RTIViewer also contains contributions from the University of California Santa Cruz, the Universidade do Minho in Portugal, Tom Malzbender of HP Labs, and Cultural Heritage Imaging.
